Simpson County Democratic Party

Public Demonstration

About

The Democratic Party was founded around 1828 by supporters of Andrew Jackson, making it the world's oldest active political party. The structure of the Kentucky Democratic Party states that the power rests in the hands of the members and is to be conducted in accordance with the Constitutions of the United States and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A member is anyone who is registered as a Democrat in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and states that no discrimination will take part in anyone wishing to join the party.

The Simpson County Democratic Party is committed to upholding and fostering Kentucky Democratic Party principles. We support the rights, liberties and dreams of all Americans — with equality and without exclusion.  We believe in fair pay, accessible healthcare for all, quality public education, and strong environmental policies to preserve our planet for future generations. We strive to achieve our goals through education, voter registration and personal participation in the political process at all levels.

Community Outreach

A Helping Hand

As a large movement of activists, Outreach is close to our hearts. We believe that the best solutions for society come from within, and make it our mission to build awareness so that this is a possibility across the globe.

Partnership

Everyone Counts

Simpson County Democratic Party has built an environment of support and helpful resources to make sure that partnership is always a priority. Our success is driven by the hearts, minds, and souls of our community. Several times a year we gather needed items for local school children. We've distributed shoes for students and snacks for teachers and health care workers.
We'd love to have your help.

Advocacy

Ensuring that All Voices are Heard
